SEO Case Study – Ranking on the Top Page without Backlinks

Here I am presenting an SEO case study about how easily you can rank on the top page without backlinks.

First, let’s see what SEO is.

SEO means search engine optimization.

There are three parts to SEO.

  1. On-page SEO
  2. Technical SEO
  3. Off-page SEO

In this case study, I will show how I got ranking on the 1st page of a keyword without doing backlinks.

In this keyword the main competitors are

Search Engine Land

Search Engine Journal


Reliable soft

Moz, etc.

All the competitors are very big names and high authority sites.  I just put some special effort to rank on the 1st page by beating the competitors.

What were My Tricks

You believe it or not, I just did top quality on-page SEO, technical SEO, and made traffic funnel at social platforms.

Let’s see how I did on-page SEO, technical SEO, and made traffic funnel.

On-Page SEO

In on-page SEO, my first step was to find out a keyword that is very easy to rank and some search value. In the case of keyword research, I never choice high search value keywords because high search value keywords are always very highly competitive and difficult to rank on the 1st page.

Another benefit to choosing a moderate or low search value keyword is; you can rank on the 1st page very easily and fast and then the high search value keywords, which have been used in your article, can rank on the 1st page gradually.

In my opinion, the second step of on-page SEO is to write a unique and informative article, which is helpful to the traffic.

Here I have written all about SEO. In the article, I try to give a thorough knowledge about a website, its importance, how to get traffic to your website, how to do marketing for a website, why you need SEO, how easily you can get ranking on the top page of a search engine, etc.

That means in the article you can find a brief discussion of starting a website to getting rank on the 1st page.

Now time to decorate the article. I have decorated the article with some relevant images and a video. Video helps me to find the keyword at voice search.

The meta description is an important part of on-page SEO. I have written a meta description that can give you an idea about the whole article within a hundred and fifty characters.

On-page SEO is done.

Technical SEO

In technical SEO I did image optimization, page speed optimization, mobile compatibility, and language compatibility.

All we know about image optimization, page speed optimization, mobile compatibility. So, I am not talking about all these things. Here I just want to tell you why I use language compatibility.

Just think, in Germany someone is search for something in the German language. If your website language is only English, the search engine never shows your link in the search result.  On the other hand, if your website is language compatibility then the search engines can show your link in their search results.

Building Traffic Funnels

Most of the SEO expert do link building through guest posting, comments backlink, forum posting, question answering, email marketing, and social media marketing. But I do only social media marketing for building traffic funnels.

Just think, Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Reddit, or Pinterest have much traffic than any other blog. That is why I do marketing of articles only on social media and question answering sites. No elsewhere. I believe that if the article has good information for traffic, they will visit your article and their engagement will grow in your website.

Engagement of traffic and click ratio will help you to get ranking of your article on the 1st page of search engine.

I have followed all the above steps to get ranking on the 1st page of search engine.

This technique I naturally use for all my SEO work.
