WARSAW (Reuters) – Poland’s Olympic Committee, PKOL, has referred to as on the World Olympic Committee (IOC) to change the date of the Tokyo 2020 games scheduled for July due to the the coronavirus pandemic, its spokeswoman acknowledged on Monday.

“Because of the altering location – the introduction of the practice of the epidemic in Poland and the rising variety of COVID-19 infections – Polish athletes possess additional and additional diminutive teaching suggestions,” the PKOL acknowledged.

“Olympic {qualifications} are being canceled and there could possibly be just too mighty uncertainty. This does not encourage to correctly put together for the Olympic Video games – essentially the most fascinating sport event on this planet.”
